As the train neared the area of Martos in the Jaen, Andalusian region of Spain, we grew more animated. The olive groves cover that rolling hills for miles and miles. The somewhat pungent scent of the soon-to-be harvested olives, fills the air. The streets of the town are narrow so that you can almost reach across from one white adobe house to another. Here we spent time with Oscar and Encarni, bringing encouragement to the ministry they have had in the town for the last 16 years. A 45 minute hike up the nearby mountain gave us a spectacular view and the inspiration to pray for God to bring blessing into the lives of those living in its shadow.
