I was so impacted by this poetry by the founding president of the Salem churches in Spain, with whom we have been associated for the past 26 years. So many times, as Marcos, his son commented to us, we are encouraged to live life to the fullest and follow our dreams. Manuel Vidal talks about how he had his dreams but his calling was much stronger, more compelling. Today, thousands of people are thankful to God that he sacrificed his dreams and pursued the calling that has impacted their lives in such a way that they, too, follow his example and open their lives to the call God has placed within them.
Translated from Spanish:
The Seeds of My Life
My dream was a piano
My call the gospel
And much greater was the call than the dream.
Thousands of Spanish flags have been draped on windows and balconies across Spain to show their support of remaining together as one country
