Continuing her fight against human trafficking and wanting to bring increased awareness of the latest tactics, Iana acted as a consultant in the Cannes winning film “Love RBoy”. The film premiered in Bucharest October 6th and exposes the latest ploy of human traffickers to deceive young women into thinking they are valued and soon to be married when, in reality, they are being lured away from the safety of family and home. Once they become emotionally attached and financially indebted to the boyfriend, he enslaves them in the sex industry and they haven’t anyone or place to return to for help.
